how it started

BORROWED CLOTHES, BUILT INTO A BRAND

MotDaught Style is a female-led, BIPOC-owned mother-daughter brand built on family, fashion, and a shared love of feeling good in what you wear. It started with something simple: Brigette's daughters kept borrowing her clothes — and each other's.

A 9-to-5er by day with a lifelong passion for fashion, beautiful fabrics, and great shoes, Brigette turned that family habit into something of their own — a sophisticated, premium brand beginning with bodysuits.

Each of them brings something different to MotDaught. Brigette has the eye for quality and elevated style. Isabella brings bright colours, and creative energy. JJ keeps things simple and cozy — with a love of animals and a warm, easy-going spirit.

Brigette has always had a love affair with fashion — beautiful fabrics, interesting textures, the perfect pair of shoes. By day she gives her all in a demanding professional role; by night (and on weekends!) she's building MotDaught with her daughters.

When she's not designing or working, you'll likely find Brigette at the gym, often with JJ by her side.

Isabella is a Canadian dancer, actress, and performer. She's drawn to pieces that blend style, comfort, and true functionality — something that works from rehearsal to dinner without a wardrobe change.

Her creative energy shapes both her personal style and her vision for MotDaught.

JJ brings a different energy to MotDaught — simple, cozy, and effortlessly beautiful. She has a deep love for animals and a big heart that runs through everything she does.
